to be included in an upcoming mobile game!

48 Hours to create one level of a simple mobile arcade game and potential for your game to make it into an upcoming mobile title!

If you’re a game developer in the Midwest area, you won’t want to miss Arcade Challenge. It’s going to be a 48-hour game jam in which teams of 4 – 5 will develop an arcade-themed mobile title, based on one of these popular genres:

  • Platformer
  • Space Shooter
  • Puzzle
  • Endless Runner
  • Endless Jumper
  • Defender
  • Maze
  • Sling Shooter
  • Racing
  • Road Crosser

The game has to be programmed in Unity and C#, but don’t worry! Even if you’re not familiar with that language, you’ll be working in a team that needs many roles filled. Use this as a chance to hone your art or modeling skills instead! If you don’t come with a team, we’ll help you fit in with the right developers. There will be many attendees that form teams on the day of arrival.

All day Saturday, we’ll have free food!

And yes, you read that right—the winners have the potential to have their game put into our upcoming mobile title, which we’ll be revealing details about later.

Already hyped to jam with us? See you there! RSVP on our Facebook event!

Interested, but still have a few questions? Shoot us an email –

  • A prize for everyone that attends!
  • Free food all day on Saturday!
  • Any and all Game Development skills welcome!
  • $5,000 in prize money for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place!
  • Potential for your game to be released in our upcoming mobile title!
